Vera specializes in the Hair Enhancement Experience: Luxury Hair Extensions + Color, her personal method of applying healthy color and individual extensions to the hair. She loves creating a signature look for each client with lived-in, naturally sun kissed highlights, enhanced with seamless, customized individual strand luxury hair extensions. Vera has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2005 and a certified Platinum Artist with Great Lengths Hair Extensions, the Ultimate Luxury in Hair Extensions, since 2016. Over the years she has applied over 800 extensions applications on clients that travel in from Washington, New York, California, Colorado, South Carolina and Texas.

Vera was born in Estonia and immigrated to the US with her parents and 4 sisters when she was 4 years old. She credits her sisters with her love of fashion, style and music, as she spent her childhood giving everyone makeovers after school and reading Vogue and Rolling Stone.

Vera finished cosmetology school the summer after high school graduation and received her BA in Psychology from the University of Washington. She continued to do hair and makeup before, during and after college, and never lost her passion for making women feel beautiful and confident.

After living in Seattle, WA for 15 years, she expanded her business into Austin, TX in 2020. She moved with her fiance, cat and dog (who are the best of friends!) After just two and a half years in Austin, Vera opened Vera Salon + Extensions, a beautiful boutique salon in the historic Seaholm district of downtown Austin across from Lady Bird Lake. There she offers private appointments and education in her trademark Hair Enhancement Experience: Luxury Hair Extensions + Color.

She loves reading, animals, great food, and lives and works to travel and explore the world. You can find her walking Moose down Lady Bird Lake, listening to live music, or enjoying a meal at one of Austin’s wonderful restaurants.

Vera is passionate about elevating her craft and is dedicated to furthering her education. She travels regularly to learn from the best in beauty industry education. In recent years, she’s had the pleasure of learning from the following master educators:
